I'm .vure_ — a developer building desktop software, Linux utilities, and automation tools. A lot of what I build comes directly from my own interests — whether that's streaming media utilities, visual novel controllers, or tools to streamline daily Linux workflows.
Most of my work centers around Python, multimedia processing (FFmpeg, V4L2, stream muxing), computer vision with OpenCV / MediaPipe, and lightweight web backends.
Languages, libraries, and tools I work with regularly.
Open-source desktop applications, system tools, and experiments.
Standalone desktop app, CLI, and Discord bot for downloading Crunchyroll streams into clean MKV files. Features multi-threaded DASH stream fetching, Widevine DRM decryption, multi-track audio/subtitle multiplexing with FFmpeg, and remote queue management via Discord slash commands.
Linux desktop app that routes local video files into an OS-level virtual camera feed (V4L2) for Discord, OBS, and browsers. Supports embedded and external subtitles (ASS/SRT), virtual microphone audio streaming with amplification, real-time mirror flipping, and dynamic resolution switching up to 1440p.
Gesture-based reading controller for visual novels. Tracks circular motion of the index finger via webcam using MediaPipe and OpenCV, dynamically dispatching keystrokes proportional to rotation speed. Includes a live HUD overlay and jitter calibration.
